Isa Ýr — nordic & european symbolic tattoos.

I am an Italian tattoo artist based in Zuid-Holland, specialized in Nordic and European symbolic tattooing, custom designs, and experimental dark blackwork inspired by ancient marks, raw textures, and unconventional forms.

I have always been drawn to art, shapes, visual language, and the aesthetics of body modification. Creativity has been part of my life since early childhood.

I grew up drawing, painting and shaping ideas into form because art has always been my foundation.

Iin 2018, i completed my professional training as a certified tattoo artist. Since then, i have continued to study, evolve, and refining my craft through constant practice and research.

Over time, i have developed a personal style that combines nordic symbolism, ancestral roots, and dark aesthetic balance.
My work is built on the connection between meaning and form, with a strong focus on intention and execution.

Over the years, i have observed how the true essence of tattooing has gradually shifted.
What was once a deeply personal language, rooted in history, identity, and the body, has partly been replaced by fast trends and commercial pressure.

From this awareness, kailo primal was born — with the intention of bringing the focus back to the core of tattooing:
an art form connected to memory, culture, and personal meaning.

Each project is a carefully built process, inspired by ancient symbols, nordic aesthetics, and european ancestral visual traditions, always adapted to the person, the body, and their story.
